Brag, brag, brag... |

So, his book (I Got Here, You Can Too), which is step one in the "Berman Differential"? is one brag session after another. There is absolutely NO information of value in his book. It reads more like a very poorly written autobiography.
And I do mean POORLY written, containing several grammatical errors what? the millionaire could not hire an editor? He talks about companies he worked for, started, or helped but never offers any information on how he did any of it.
As I was reading (mainly for entertainment after the first chapter) I could not help but feel like all he was doing was claiming other peoples experiences he had heard about as his own, and really did not know or do anything himself...but that is my opinion. Also, he rarely spends more than a couple of paragraphs on one "venture" making it that much harder to follow with exception to being a "person who knows people."
That section was my favorite in the book as he talks about how you can become rich by knowing people who need things, and where they can get it. The basic principle is sound; however, it is more like being a freelance sales rep for every company in your area. You talk to CEOs about needing clients, then you find these clients and collect a pre-negotiated fee or commission. This section really made it seem like he was grasping at straws and was trying to fill space.
Again, the principle is sound, but in order to be even close to successful doing this, you would need to do this as a full time position, and you would need to learn specifically what every company you are finding business for can offer potential clients (something difficult enough to do for one company, let alone 20, 30 or more), and then you need an endless supply of consumers.
His CD ROM kit, which is his "claim to know all about everything" contains very little value as well. I would say it contains some information that can be used, if you know how (which is not in there) and if you already have an understanding of charting stocks, foreclosures, leases, etc. It will basically give you enough info to sound like you know what you are talking about at a dinner party, without actually knowing anything.
When I was charged the $99 after having the book and CDs for 2 weeks, I called and made arrangements to send it back and get my money back. Instead I ended up negotiating for the package at a price of $20. BIG CLUE!! They would rather cut the price to almost nothing rather than take it back.
