I purchased my home back in 2002. I purchased it with no money down and I didn't even know what I was doing. I know it can be done because it happened to me. Essentially I took a loan on a property I didn't even own. The way it went down was like this, I offered 3,000 above the actual price of the home to pay closing cost. I got my mom to write a letter saying she would help me with money towards closing. Which was not needed by the way. The bank was offering a no money down loan program. I got approved and I didn't have perfect credit. Actually my credit was not very good at all but my fico matched the banks requirement. So I got my home and I thank God because I know it is because of Him that it all happened. So no money down can work. I know the market is different now but I plan to purchase another property and I'm planning to use little or no money down. After my experience I don't think I could purchase property anyother way. I also purchased Carleton Sheets program after I bought my home and I've never used it. |
