I'm embarrassed to say how much money I spent on Robert Allen's products, because it was a complete waste. His 3-day seminar gives you basic information which is readily available elsewhere, and the "motivational" part of the course was basically a big sales pitch to get you to buy more of his products. Here's what I've found: if you want to get involved in real estate investing, you can get all the information in his course simply by doing a little research on your own. Buy some books, or check some out of the library for free. Surf the Internet and check out the wealth of information available free or at a reasonable cost. You can learn all the basic concepts and strategies Robert Allen teaches for just a few dollars, not thousands! For support, join a local Real Estate Investor's Association, and network with people in your area who are active investors. DO NOT spend thousands for a bogus Robert Allen "mentor" or "coach" who calls you on the phone from heaven-knows-where, and offers absolutely nothing that will actually advance your real estate investing career. Take the thousands you'll save by avoiding Robert Allen and use that money towards the down payment on your first property. |
