Ron LeGrand is a real estate guru who conducts programs to his clients on how to make money in real estate with "no money down" techniques. He has authored three books which he sells to his clients for $600.

He has some schemes where in you get the third book free if you purchase his first two books. Apart from selling his books he also conducts seminars to teach 'no money down' techniques' which are priced at whooping $1800.

Most of those who have attended these programs feel that more than teaching any of his techniques he tries to advertise and sell his other upcoming courses in these seminars. These seminars are filled with sales pitch rather than real estate money making techniques.

Though Ron's programs contain good information, often I find these programs are similar to what the other real estate gurus conduct. His program teaches how you can become rich quickly by buying distressed or foreclosed properties with little or no money down.

He talks about how profitable it is to buy a distressed property which is known to all. But what is important here is how to compete with other buyers and how to find good distressed properties which he hardly explains. In the real estate business what is important is to find out distressed and foreclosed properties at the right time and strike the deal at the early. Though Ron offers some valuable information I feel the techniques are obsolete and non effective and are same as what other real estate gurus offers.

In my opinion real estate business requires a lot of patience and the returns cannot be expected immediately. These so called real estate gurus are just sales experts rather than real estate investment experts. If you wants to invest in real estate you should have another primary source of income then you can wait and watch for good deals. It is just not possible to just borrow some money and invest in real estate depending on these so called self proclaimed real estate gurus. This may push you to a financial crisis.
