I first heard Ron LeGrand in April '06 at the Learning Annex Real Estate Wealth Expo. I attended his free one-day event that was mainly selling his bootcamp seminars. There was no mention of books for $600. The seminar cost was $5000 which includes several books and about 80 hrs of CD lectures, plus forms that you need to do transactions as well as examples of ads, etc., as well as an opportunity to attend as many 5-day bootcamp seminars in one year as you desire, plus you are allowed to bring one person to the seminar for free that lives in your household. In addition to that you leave with a set of CD's of an entire bootcamp, so you don't have to worry about taking feverish notes. I really appreciated that since real estate investing is new to me.
I attended my first bootcamp iin Sept. 06. I was really impressed with the information. His system doesn't depend on luck--it depends on attendees going out and applying the system. There were plenty of repeat attendees there that I spoke to that were making the system work. I consider myself still in the learning stage. I will reattend another seminar in April 07. After that I hope I have the courage to go out and do deals.
Ron is upfront about the fact that only 64% of those that attend his seminars are successful. Going in you know that it isn't something magical or automatic.
If I fail at real estate investiing, I won't blame it on Ron or his system. I feel that i've been given an education that is well worth the $5000. |
