I live in Texas, and a News Station in the DFW area did an undercover research on "work at home" jobs that were advertised in local papers.
The News Lady put together the items according to the instructions and they wouldn't pay her claiming that the items had defects. Yes, they not only kept the items, but sold them in stores! How do we know? She did something with the items that the company was not aware of, and found one such item in a store with her "secret addition"!
As she proved, they did take the item, but refused to pay the assembly people claiming it to be "poor quality work", and then they turned around and sold it to stores! It seems these people moved from place to place and put ads in different newspapers across the country. When it got too "hot" from people complaining, they just picked up and moved somewhere else. Beware!
