I traded for about six months back in '94-'95. I read everything, paper traded and actually made a real good retun on my money. I stopped though because I just as easily could have lost it all- it was basically gambling. I think Wendy is right you could probably learn as much from books in the library or online. I don't think Ken makes any money trading. I think it's a hobby to help him sell books and stuff. You need to be intuitive in the specific commodity AND have deep pockets in case you need to hold your trades until the market moves in your predicted way. That means you need staying power (bick bucks you can afford to possibly lose). I think it's fun if you have some time and mad money (it's as exciting as Vegas) but as for your retirement dollars stick with quality mutual funds! |
