It takes more than a $1000.00 to start. |

I have studied and practiced Ken Roberts basic and advanced training courses. There is alot of hype which he knows that most Americans and Canadians are sold on. He claims he started with only 2000.00. Well yes, that may be true but you got lucky Ken. When you made your first big profit by luck, it is easy to stay in the futures market after that because you have the capital to hold yourself in.
What about those who were not lucky (that's the 95% who do not make it). I felt I traded very carefully and I lost all my money because I could not hold myself in the market when it took a temporary downturn. After the margin call which I could not pay, prices turned around and I could have made a forutne.
I am not mocking futures but I recommend that you have at least $50,000.00 of money to play with before you start. Not the $1000.00 he recommends you can do. You will lose it all. |
