MICROSOFT/YAHOO 2008 LOTTERY |

In January, 2008, I was scammed on the internet with the above mentioned lottery. Considering I was new, to me, Microsoft/Yahoo was a household name. One contact led to a delivery service which required $900 for delivery. Sent the money my Wire Transfer. Then the package was stopped at the airport for anti-terrorist charges. An additional $1,000 plus had to be wired. Then all of a sudden there was a charge for entry to the US and an additional $1,000 was sent. Before I knew it I was so in debt on the first amount, and not knowing any better which I do now, I sent more money. Like putting money in to a broken down vehicle. There comes a time when you know to stop. These people are ruthless. If I collected all the money I was told I had won in Lotteries, Nigerian Inheritances, etc., I would be a billionaire. Instead, I am now $3,000 broker but wiser.
They used the Christian card on me and my mistake for falling for such a scam. Unbelieveable that people out there can be so mean. I thought I had checked everything out. I kept telling them I was on disability and if this was a scam to stop and not take anymore from me.
Guess when they stopped? When my son got on the internet and started corresponding with them. I even had to unplug my phone because they were calling here at 4:00 a.m. supposedly from London.
PEOPLE BEWARE OF ANY LOTTERY OR NIGERIAN OR AMERICAN REPRESENTATIVE EMAILS. TRUST ME, I KNOW ALL OF THEM NOW TWO MONTHS LATER AND DO NOT WANT ANYONE ELSE TO HURT LIKE I HAVE. |
