"Parcel Delivery Service scam" is the most popular scam in the recent days. Though this scam is uncommon it is dangerous as something extraordinary is happening. The scam actually occurs this way: You will receive a card asking you to call PDS (Parcel Delivery Service) indicating that there is a parcel waiting for delivery instructions. It will ask you to call on 0906 6611911. DO NOT call this number as it is a scam which originated from Belize.In case you happen to call the number, then you will hear recorded message for a long time and you will land up with a very high telephone bill for the phone call. If you receive such kind of a card, contact Royal Mail Fraud on 02072396655 or ICTIS at "http://www.icstis.org.uk" http://www.icstis.org.uk or your local trading standards office. This is a real scam. The ICTIS has the following details about the number : This is a card posted through your letter box from PDS Parcel Delivery suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel and to call the premium rate number in question. This service costs $2.50 per minute. This is being investigated by ICSTIS It is not required to waste your time and money on fraud programs.
