Recently, in the papers, there was this scam where an elderly man received a parcel from a delivery guy, and signed for it. What he did n't know was that the guy had done a number on him, knew his personal info, all he needed was his signature, which he copied on a cheque and withdrew about $500,000 from his account. Luckily, the police was able to intercept the transaction and caught the guy. I thought that was what you were talking about. |
